Controller

Envipco is looking for a dynamic Controller with hands-on knowledge and experience who will be accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountability, Cash management, Inventory management and control, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Payroll, Budgeting, Variance analysis, and Internal controls
  • Timely completion of monthly financial statements and their review to perform variances analysis with the budget
  • Preparation of budgets, cash flow statements / forecasts and business plans
  • There is also a requirement for compliance with sales requirements
  • Coordination and completion of statutory, bank and other audits


Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent with 10+ years of progressively responsible for a major company or division of a large corporation
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong computer skills with spreadsheet modeling and ability to use accounting and ERP software
  • Must be a team player with comprehensive written and verbal communication skills
  • CPA / MBA preferred
  • Experience in consolidation and Forex preferred

Corporate Staff Accountant

Key Qualifications
  • B.S. in Accounting preferred but not mandatory.
  • 5+ Years of experience of full charge book-keeping including G/L reconciliations, journal entries, month end, financial reporting, fixed asset management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash mgmt./ bank rec’s.
  • Excellent communication skills, has a great personality, and is very easy going, able to be flexible with work schedule and work 40 plus works during crunch time as needed
  • Industries: Manufacturing preferred
  • System savvy and is an Excel power user (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, Concatenate, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Be a part of a dynamic team and also capable of working independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis.


Salary range $45k-$55k (negotiable) based on experience & full benefit package upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

Sales & Customer Service Representative - Metro NYC

The Sales & Customer Service Representative position will be responsible for growing the revenue base within the territory by prospecting new business opportunities, increasing sales revenue at existing accounts and retaining existing business. The Sales Rep will work from a home office and travel within their territory. Each Sales Rep is provided with a laptop and cell phone.

Key Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a BA degree and at least 3+ years of outside sales experience working in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent math skills a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and lease bottle deposit machines (Reverse Vending Machines, “RVM”) to dealers (grocery, pharmacy, etc.) and redemption centers.
  • Sell in service contracts and set-up material handling services to remove recyclable scrap from customer locations.
  • Communicate with customer accounts to assess satisfaction levels.
  • Regular communication with supervisor and Metro NYC service personnel.
  • Assigns personnel to complete service issues as needed. Performs on the spot repairs as practical.
  • Submit weekly activity report for prior weeks’ activities to include motor vehicle miles, expenses etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

To further strengthen our Software Development Team we’re looking for a System Developer with experience in image processing and pattern recognition.

Key Responsibilities
  • PC based software development, specialized on image processing and further processing and evaluation of the results
  • Optimization of the processing pipeline, including lighting and cameras
  • Maintenance and extension of existing software packages
  • Close collaboration with engineering team
 
Key Qualifications
  • At least Master in computer science, preferable with a focus on image processing / pattern recognition
  • Several years of experience in the areas of image processing and pattern recognition during education studies, Master thesis and/ or through relevant working experience
  • Very good knowledge of C++
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with the design, development and maintenance of large technical software packages
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Ability to work independently, with high motivation and commitment
