Envipco has worked closely with Fuji Electric in an effort to develop the Japanese reverse vending market. This effort is predicated on the fact that the government, private business, and the Japanese public are committed to recycling and capturing valuable commodities before they enter the waste stream.

Market activity to date has been centered around cooperative efforts between various municipalities and Fuji Electric. Other activities include direct sales to beverage vendors as well as testing alternative concepts such as voluntary deposit programs to maximize recycling rates.
